We stayed in the upper loop, pit toilets and no showers. The toilets were clean, but they are what they are. Very pretty area, had a view of the ocean if we walked up the embankment. No wind, sites well spaced, but open.

We arrived after hours (had a reservation) and were directed by a park ranger to our site. We were specifically advised not to use a generator during non generator hours. I appreciated the concern for quiet time, only wish the ranger would come by during those hours to enforce it. Camp host site was the most uninviting camp site I have ever seen. We were there 7 days and not sure what he did. Our refrigerator stopped working, I went to the SP entrance for information, she gave me phone book, not helpfull at all. Called Morro Dunes RV and Phil came out and repaired the refrigerator. Phil was honest and fixed the problem for a very fair price, if you need RV repairs while in the area, call Phil.

We paid $19.00 the first night and were discounted to $14.00 a night after that for being over 62, and we were from out of state. A very nice state park with shade sites. We had site 26 which was in the shade and on loop A. We were on the river and had plenty of room. The only draw back to the site was it was muddy from recent rains. The grassy sites are closer together on loop B. Free Wi-Fi is available at the visitor center. We prefer this type of camping, having electric and water hookups in a state park is something we do not have in Ca. The only negative comment is the restrooms needed more attention.

This park is not what it is advertised to be. It is on a busy street with no view. That said, the staff was very friendly and we were escorted into our site. The restroom/showers were clean and air conditioned. The park was clean and well maintained. We were in site A1 which was a back in site (they charge more for a pull thru) which was next to the street. We enjoyed the live band from the biker bar across the street and especially enjoyed the noise of the loud pipes as the bikers roared off into the sunset (or night). The music did stop at a reasonable hour, but the traffic noise did not. If you want to pay $40.00 a night for a tight space in a clean park this is the place for you. We will not return to this park.

There are no restroom or shower facilities here for the guests. They do no encourage families to stay here, per the individual checking us in. The park is clean and has shady sites, the staff was helpful and friendly. We would have moved on as we were looking for shower facilities, but it was a quiet park and the price was good. The only reason not to return is the lack of restrooms and showers.

We chose electric and water hookup only. We were in the rear of the park, the sites were spaced well apart and most had shade. The roads were level and so were the spaces. The restrooms and showers were very clean. We would return to this campground because it was so neat and clean. There is no cable, which is not that big of a deal to us.

This is a nice campground, it deserves a 10 but it does not have the RV amenities. We chose a electric/water site, there are full hookup sites available. All the sites are pull thrus with covered tables and fire rings. The roads and sites are asphalt. There is a little lake which you can take a non power boat on and the Colorado River is next to the campground. Restrooms were clean, showers are a dollar for 4 minutes. We would stay here again.

We called the park and the woman (owner) who answered the phone was very nice, she gave us directions to the park and her friendly demeanor was the reason we continued to the park. The park is located behind a Super 8 motel and some other businesses. Behind the Park is an Air Force Base, which was quiet on the day we were there. The on site manager was friendly and escorted us to our site. The park was nearly full of "monthly s", those that follow their work and live in RVs. The trailers were all kept up as well as the sites. The owner came by to ask if we needed anything. Something you do not find often, air conditioned restrooms, which were very clean. It was obvious the rest rooms were not to be used by the "monthly s". No picnic table and the price was high, but we would stay there again.

The only reason this park is not getting a 10 is it did not have cable. Friendly staff, clean park, wide sites. The restroom/showers were clean and had air conditioning. It was off the highway, easy on and off. My site was on the grass, it was level. We would stay there again.

Our daily camp fee was for out of state, which was still a bargin. This was a great place to stop and rest after being on I -80 and listening to the traffic at the RV parks next to the highway. This is a no frills campground which is what we like. Very few sites have water and electric, and they are out in the sun and wind. No showers, pit toilets, and you have to fill up with water before you find your site. The sites are dirt, some are in the shade, some are right on the lake. You do have to be careful about driving into some of the camping areas, turning around can become difficult.

We were referred to this campground by another campground which was full. We pulled into this place and should have pulled out, but we were tired. The campground is old and not taken care of, the bathrooms and showers were bad. Our septic line backed up and we had we had to dump at another site. The park caters to monthly, but most the rigs were clean. This park is still a pretty park, grassy and shady, just run down and dirty. Due to recent flooding (which had not reached the park) the water was not fit to drink, luckily it did not leave a stain. This place was way over priced, don't bother stopping.
